NWFOA Founder
Desiree Abrams is a former women's tackle football player, who began her officiating career with the NFL Football Officiating Academy.
She is currently a collegiate football official, Head of Officiating for the Women's National Football Conference (WNFC), and founder of the National Women's Football Officials Association (NWFOA), an organization charged with the betterment of women's tackle and flag football through exceptional officiating.
She has officiated flag football at its highest level in the United States and internationally with the International Federation of American Football (IFAF).

Angela Pie
Angela attended Purdue University on an athletic scholarship. Angela competed in the 800m, 4X100m, and 4X400m while competing on the collegiate level. She was a BIG TEN Champion while at Purdue University. She held both the collegiate freshman and sophomore record in the 800m while attending Purdue. Like in high school, Angela also excelled academically on the collegiate level. She was honored every season, as an Academic All American and Academic All Big Ten, which is an honor awarded to the top athletes academically
in their sports.
Angela believes that you must compete against the best to be the best. One quote you can always hear her saying, is "that which doesn't kill me, only makes me stronger!"
Angela’s objective throughout her personal and athletic career has been to obtain positions that allow her to work with the youth of society in order to improve the quality of their lives in every aspect. Angela manages to serve as the Boys and Girls Varsity Track coach at a local high school in her spare time. She also coaches the NS Elite Ballhawks co-Ed flag football team, which has been ranked one of the top teams in the country since it’s inception into the flag football world even winning FFL Nationals in 2022. One of the top players on the NS Ballhawks Elite co-ed National Championship team was a young lady who now shines for Texas Fury. Angela has embraced coaching flag football and is truly focused on the growth and development of the game.
When she’s not on the sidelines coaching, you might find her being a field monitor. She’s excited to be part of the ‘We Run the World’ Scholarship committee.
Phoebe Schecter
Former NFL Coach, Female in Flag ambassador
Phoebe is a former coach of the Buffalo Bills in the National Football League(NFL) She is currently a Female in Flag Ambassador for NFL Flag and the current captain of United Kingdom's Tackle Football National team.


Ashley Eggleston
Owner of Eggz Flag Football
Ashley has been playing flag football competitively for 6 years. She currently plays on SoFlo based out of Southern Florida. Since playing she has won multiple National Championships as well as a World’s MVP Off the field, she has created Eggz Flag Football which has helped create a space for female youth flag players. Originally based in San Jose, Eggz flag football has moved to Houston and is starting up female only youth divisions

Gianna Hoang

Gianna is a current Junior at Warner University and on the Flag Football team. Gianna not only plays flag football but was a coach and a NFL Flag certified referee. Her goal is to keep growing the game for females in flag football.
